As humans, it is important that we take our vitamins every day to keep our health in tip-top shape. During the winter time, it is even more crucial to make sure you are getting that daily dosage of vitamins.

During the winter, especially in the northern states, we don't get the amount of vitamin D that our body needs or is used to in the summertime. This can cause us to get sick, our mental health can take a stronger toll on us and it can be harder for our body to fight off common bacteria and illnesses.

That's why it is important that we take vitamin D daily. Especially during those cold winter months. It plays a huge role in maintaining healthy bones. I would recommend taking vitamin C year-round to help your immune system fight off colds and germs. It also helps with asthma, bronchitis and high blood pressure.

On top of that, it is important that you take probiotics every day. This is amazing for your immune system, to help your digestive system and for your skin. As Americans, we don't eat the cleanest. It's important to have the cultures from probiotics to keep your digestive tract healthy and strong.

Vitamin B is also a crucial vitamin that our body needs. It gives us the energy to get through the day, it not only helps our immune system function but keeps it healthy and it helps our body absorb iron. Vitamin B comes in many forms like B-6 and B-12, but they should be in your daily pill intake.

My last recommendation is magnesium. Magnesium has many benefits including bone health support, calcium absorption, diabetes, heart health, migraine/headache prevention, and relieving anxiety.

I think everyone should take vitamins every day, especially the ones listed. Even though our body creates these supplements, it doesn’t hurt to give your body a boost and help it out as much as possible.
