Tie-Dye Revival

You’ve probably seen your favorite Instagram influencer wearing it—we even used to make it ourselves (via summer camp 2008): that’s right, tie-dye is back, but with a twist. Pun intended.

Working retail, I get to see a little of what buyers are putting into stores for the upcoming season and what their inspiration is. The newest shipment for January has been a wave of tie-dye in every color—even out browsing stores I’ve seen loads of styles using this pattern.

My first thoughts were less than thrilled…until I started seeing this pop up among some of the biggest names. Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Saweetie, and so many other celebrity fashion icons are sporting this new trend in 2020.

Not sure you can pull this off? That’s exactly what I thought too…and I am not about to pull out my wadded up t-shirt from middle school. Here’s some inspiration so you can use to get your creative juices flowing and show-out for your next social event.
